WhatsApp to Get Status Ads by 2020.

Facebook, WhatsApp’s parent organization, has made it clear that WhatsApp Status updates will begin uncovering ads in 2020. Facebook offered a first take a gander at an annual Facebook Marketing Summit in Rotterdam, Netherlands on how its promotions would look once executed.

Olivier Ponteville, the media leader at a Brussels-based digital marketing agency, confirmed this revelation on Twitter. The ads will be shown between WhatsApp stories, just like Instagram stories, according to Ponteville. Olivier explained in the picture that stories would be fully displayed on the screen and a link would redirect users to the website.

WABetaInfo, a reliable hotspot for data on new increases to WhatsApp’s Beta renditions, had previously stated that the element foundation was laid back when Android Beta 2.18.305 was removed.

Co-founder of WhatsApp, Brian Acton, mentioned earlier in an interview that Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg was in a hurry to make money out of the messaging service, undermining key elements of the encryption technology of the messaging service. “What makes me unhappy is targeted advertising,” Acton said.

The ads will be powered by Facebook’s native advertising system to help users understand and participate in businesses using the messaging app. The intentions of Facebook to monetise WhatsApp forced the co-founders of the hugely popular messaging service to leave the company earlier.
